Joseph Lombardo, an Italian immigrant, founded State Supply in 1933. He would source and deliver plumbing and heating repair parts to customers for a fee.

Still a family-run business today – State Supply is led by the third generation Lombardo's. While the company remains humble to its St Paul roots, we now operate on a much larger scale, serving more than 50,000 customers nationwide and even internationally.
