Transystem, Inc. changed its name to EMpower Technology Corporation(EMT). Founded in 1990,EMT designs and develops state-of-the-art wireless communications products for the RF communications and GPS markets. EMT’s portfolio spans an array of wireless communications products in the Distributed Antenna System, MMDS, outdoor Wi-Fi and GPS areas. In particular, EMT’s high quality DAS has earned EMT industry recognition as the market leader in the DAS communications market. EMT extended its reach into the GPS market and has gained substantial growth since the development of its first GPS receiver in 2004. The company now offers a wide variety of Bluetooth GPS receivers, GPS data loggers, tracking devices, and modules for embedded GPS applications. EMT’s headquarters is situated in the internationally renowned Hsinchu Science Park in Taiwan. EMT is listed on the Taiwan Over-the-Counter Securities Exchange under the ticker symbol 5348.
