As a part of the Asahi Kasei Group’s sharpening focus on healthcare-related fields, in 2011 Asahi Kasei acquired Crystal IS - a U.S. manufacturer of Aluminum Nitride semiconductor material headquartered in upstate NY. Crystal IS’ product line leverages the unique properties of Aluminum Nitride to provide superior UVC LED products.
Crystal IS products are based upon our proprietary Aluminum Nitride (AlN) technology. Each product is designed and tested for a specific application. We currently offer UVC LEDs, modules, and systems.
