Based on research from Lund University, Acconeer AB (STO:ACCON) began operation in 2012 to develop radar solutions that enable a new generation of use cases on the high-volume market. Over the years, the Acconeer product range has grown from a single device to a complete portfolio of sensors and modules and the team now consists of over 50 people. We have developed a unique, low-power, high-precision radar technology called Pulsed Coherent Radar (PCR). These sensors are used for contactless presence and distance detection and can operate in various environmental conditions.Acconeer's radar sensors are employed in various applications, including gesture recognition, presence detection, occupancy sensing, robotics, and IoT devices. Acconeer is headquartered in Lund, Sweden.
